2010 Syrah

2010 Syrah

2010 Syrah

Appellation: Rattlesnake Hills

The 2010 Vintage: The growing season was favorable but a cool Spring delayed ripening while a warm Fall allowed us to pick a little later than usual with fine results.

The Wine: Roza Ridge is Hyatt’s Reserve brand typically comprising the top 10% of each vintage. Subtle, beautiful fruit aromas introduce well-balanced multiple black fruit flavors followed by a lean but lingering finish that refreshes. Syrah from Washington is unlike Syrah from anywhere else on the planet and has generous fruit and modest tannins.

Food Matches: All strong red meats cooked, smoked and/or barbequed and strong (bleu!) cheeses.
Descriptors: Very friendly rich red wine for all red meat and fowl. A wine for all red wine consumers – Very user-friendly!
