2009 Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2009 Vintage:   The growing season was favorable while an early freeze mid-October delayed harvest, resulting in grapes having higher acid levels and lower sugars.

The Wine: Strong, typical Bordeaux-like Cabernet scents with nearly lush flavor of black currant.  Young, with substantial complementary tannins that emphasize a delicious finish with notable length revealing intense fruit.

Food Matches: Classic match for Beef and Chicken dishes, especially those with rich preparations and/or saucing.  Wonderful with soft cheeses as well.
