2010 Roadside Market Red

2010 Roadside Market Red

Appellation: Rattlesnake Hills

The 2010 Vintage: The growing season was favorable but a cool Spring delayed ripening and a warm Fall allowed us to pick these four varietals during October, which is normal for our region.

The Wine: Dark red color with scents of black plum and cherries & nutmeg / rich, lush black fruit flavors with full palate and the center filling in nicely with some breathing / great balance of acid, tannins and fruit with a lingering, promising finish / This is our very approachable Bordeaux-style blend designed to offer early pleasure and smooth drinking for those who want wines that simply provide pleasure.

Food Matches: complements and enhances any food calling for a red wine. Excellent with pastas with tomato-based sauces.
Descriptors: Attractive nose, full mellow flavors of ripe black fruits and lovely rich, soft finish.THE red blend for all meats, barbeque and cheese courses.
