2012 Black Muscat Rosé
Appellation: Rattlesnake Hills
The 2012 Vintage: 2012 vintage was a nearly perfect growing season with complete ripening of our Black Muscat grapes. These showed strong, delicious varietal character and were easily translated into a very quaffable Rosé with signature abundant Muscat flavors of a variety of stone fruits.
The Wine: Strong magenta color with bright strawberry nose with notes of raspberry and red cherries. Balanced by a low 2% residual sugar, this wine is for simple enjoyment and suggest that the 750ml bottle may qualify for the “single-serving” size since it’s So easily consumed!
Food Matches: Asian cuisine, soft white cheeses, lightly sauced fowl and as a delicious aperitif anytime.
Descriptors: Sweet fruity nose and off-dry enticing flavors. A beautiful display of luscious Muscat fruit.
